The 19th Annual Potato Business Summit is set to convene on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Orlando World Center Marriott’s Sabal Room, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This premier event offers a comprehensive analysis of the global and North American potato industry, bringing together growers, shippers, processors, and industry stakeholders for insightful discussions on current trends and future prospects. The summit will commence with opening remarks from key industry leaders:
- United Potato Growers of America: Chairman Lucas Wysocki and President/CEO Mark Klompien will share their perspectives on the U.S. potato market.
- United Potato Growers of Canada: Chairman Wayne Rempel will provide insights into the Canadian potato sector.
- Potato Marketing Association of North America: President Dale Lathim will discuss marketing strategies and industry challenges.
- AMVAC: Micah Scanga, Western Regional Business Manager, will represent the event’s sponsors and highlight advancements in agricultural solutions.
