Albert Bartlett expands range with White Roosters: Limited-edition line is going into Sainsbury’s nationwide

Albert Barlett has launched a limited-edition White Rooster potato bag, as Michael Barker reports on Fruitnet.

The move, which adds to the classic Red Rooster range, will see 1.5kg bags sold in selected Sainsbury’s stores across the UK while stocks last.

Like its red stablemate, the White Rooster is described as having a traditional potato taste and texture, offering all-round performance in the kitchen. It is a natural variant of Red Rooster and is said to have a light, fluffy texture and smooth white skin, making it ideal for a range of dishes from making roasties to creamy mash and golden chips.

Bartlett pointed out that White Rooster is an excellent alternative to the traditional Maris Piper.
