You folks may have noticed that Potato News Today has been a little quieter than usual over the last week or so. I wanted to take a moment to let you know why.
I am currently in hospital receiving treatment for a fairly serious health issue that happened unexpectedly to me last week. My body simply collapsed, to put it plainly. I can say that while my recovery is currently progressing fairly well, my strength and energy have understandably been in short supply. As much as I have wanted to keep bringing you the daily news and developments from across the global potato industry, my health has had to take priority for a little while.
I sincerely apologize for the temporary slowdown in new content. Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for continuing to visit Potato News Today. Your support over the years has meant more to me than I can adequately express.
The good news is that I fully intend to recover and make up for lost time. As soon as I am home again and feeling stronger, I look forward to getting back to what I enjoy most—sharing the latest news, research, innovations, and stories from an industry that has been such an important part of my life for literally decades.
Until then, thank you kindly for bearing with me? I appreciate every one of you folks and of course your care. I hope to be back at my desk again very soon.
