Sri Lanka: Potato prices drop; farmers affected

The price received by potato farmers in the Badulla District has declined. Farmers say that their produce which sold for between Rs.70 and Rs.80  a kilogramme last week is being purchased by private traders at present for between Rs.50 and Rs.60 per kilogramme at present.
