Punjab is all set to establish an ultra modern Potato Centre of Excellence in the village Dhogri in Jalandhar district, which would become the epicentre of this potato seed production region. The centre would be developed under the auspices of an Indo-Dutch joint agriculture workgroup with a focus on quality seed potato, suitable farm mechanisation, and proper disease management technologies and more.
