Kiremko: Is 2015 the year of the steam peeler?

In the potato processing industry, each year seems to have a trend, meaning that there is a lot of attention on a particular machine or process. This year seems to be “the year of the steam peeler”. Since the beginning of the year there has been a huge amount of interest in steam peeling – Kiremko has received orders for eleven new steam peelers or upgrades to existing peelers. Interest has been global with orders coming in from Japan, USA, Holland, Belgium, Germany and Turkey. Full report
