Four decades and out for potato stalwart Eric RitchieHaving served over 40 years in the potato industry, the general manager of Branston’s Abernethy site, Eric Ritchie, is set to retire in July this year. He will be replaced in the role by Kevin Imrie, who has worked at the Scottish site since 1990, rising from forklift driver to team leader, and subsequently to site manager in 1999. Imrie has been through the Branston leadership development programme over a number of years, and according to the company, has “proved himself to be an ideal candidate for the role”.
