Canada: Deadline for $500,000 potato tampering reward nears

If anyone out there was looking to cash in on the $500,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the potato tampering culprits, your time is rapidly running out. The deadline for the half-million dollar reward is Aug. 16. Anyone who leaves a tip after that date, but before Oct. 31, is still eligible for a $100,000 reward. The RCMP continues to investigate several cases of sewing needles found in potatoes that originated from Prince Edward Island farms.
