US: Looking at the southern grown irrigated potatoes

potato research kelly cooperPotato field days didn’t only happen in the northeastern region of North Dakota on Aug. 20, as growers in the Oakes area also looked at potato production. The North Dakota State University Extension Research Center at Oakes focuses on irrigation production and is a part of the Research Extension Center at Carrington. The potato research discussion was led by Kelly Cooper, the farm manager at the Conservation Cropping System Project south of Forman, N.D. He has recently come on board helping the management team at the Oakes Irrigation Station. More
