New National Potato Council chairman shares details about issues

The new National Potato Council’s Chairman Idaho’s Jim Tiede shares more details about the issues the NPC will be focusing on this year as the advocate organization for the economic well-belling of U.S. potato growers on federal legislative, regulatory, environmental, and trade issues. According to Tiede: “It’s going to be an exciting year. We’ve got a lot of issues on the table. We’ve got Waters of the U.S.issue. We’ve got truck weight issues. We’ve got increase funding for research. We’ve got lots on the agenda that we are going to try work towards completing in Washington D.C.” More
