An East Anglian farming estate is set to become a regional research and demonstration hub, aiming to help potato growers share ideas and maximise their productivity. The Elveden Estate, on the Norfolk-Suffolk border near Thetford, has become the nation’s second Strategic Potato (SPot) Farm – a project co-ordinated by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board’s potatoes division (AHDB Potatoes).
