Tong Engineering presents latest potato handling equipment

Tong Engineering, a vegetable handling equipment manufacturer, will be exhibiting at the UK’s largest arable event, Cereals, to present its latest equipment range for 2016. Exhibiting at this year’s event – held on June 15th & 16th – Tong will have the latest model of its Storemaker hopper cleaner machine on stand 258. The Storemaker is suitable for multi-site use; in the field, on the farm or in the packhouse, and can be used on a wide range of vegetables from potatoes, carrots and onions, to parsnips, beet, bulbs and more. Like new models of the Caretaker, the new Storemaker offers energy efficiency, with Tong’s all electric Blue Inverter Technology drive, as well as featuring the company’s new generation EasyClean separator, with inverter direct drive motors on every shaft, ensuring minimal maintenance and refined control. When specified with an EasyClean separating system, the Storemaker is available with the option of the latest technology HMI touch screen controls. More
