The Kenyan ministry of agriculture plans to strengthen collaboration with its counterparts from the Netherlands in potato and dairy farming. Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture Willy Bett said technical cooperation with the Netherlands will be revived to boost the cultivation of improved potato varieties. He spoke in Nairobi when he received a delegation from the Netherlands led by the country’s Minister for Agriculture, Martijn Van Dam. Kenya will soon introduce 21 improved potato varieties from the Netherlands.
