Polish Potato Association seeks to remove export restrictions

Poland is the only country in the EU where the export of potatoes is restricted, which is why it continues to be the main focus of the entire Polish industry. Up until recently the Polish potato industry was not really united like other countries such as Germany and the Netherlands, where the sector will band together in times of trouble to find solutions for the sector. In order to create this safety net in Poland as well, the Polish Potato Association was formed 12 years ago. Since their inception, they have started lobbying, meeting authorities and are now working with the government to teach them more about the industry so that they can work together. More
