Australia: Mitolo snaps up more Oakville assets

South Australian hard produce company Mitolo Group has acquired assets of Oakville Produce, including its South Australia farms and packaging facilities in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Since the first acquisition, Mitolo has also acquired Oakville’s Hillston Farm in NSW, adding a supply of brushed potatoes during the December to January, and July to October windows. Mitolo Group managing director Frank Mitolo told Produce Plus that the company has purchased Oakville’s washed potato assets, brushed and washed potato equipment and variety rights for washed and brushed potatoes. More
