Exhibitors representing over 300 companies accounted for 53,500 square feet of booth space on the Trade Show floor. Among those were 143 international exhibitors, 132 Canadian exhibitors, and 39 first-time exhibitors. The 2019 New Product Showcase included 54 products from 39 different companies.
The Packer magazine was there and collected a large number of pictures which they published on their website. Below are pictures of some of the potato companies present at the event.

Christa Wagner (left), advertising and promotions director, and Janet Burton, vice president of sales for Edmonton-based The Little Potato Co., have launched three microwave and three roasting potato kits with seasonings in a custom-molded container. “It’s dinner in five minutes,” says Burton. In May, the Add a Little Sizzle to your Grill competition offers a $5,000 prize. The company has also added a window to its fingerling package to allows consumers to see the product, while blocking light to guard against greening.

The Idaho Potato Commission, Eagle, is sending its Big Idaho Potato truck to the Toronto Honda Indy July 12-14 on its first international tour, making several retail stops, says Kent Beesley, retail promotion director for West and Canada.

Stephanie Cutaia, marketing director with EarthFresh Foods, Burlington, Ontario, stands next to an 1968 Airstream trailer EarthFresh purchased and used at its CPMA booth. “It’s the first show it’s been at, and we have plans to do some more marketing events with it,” she says. EarthFresh is planning a cross-country tour promoting potatoes with the Airstream, and plans to take it to the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit this fall.
