The European Association for Potato Research (EAPR) recently published its latest Newsletter, containing important information for members and the wider potato industry alike.
The editorial staff notes that there’s still time to send in abstracts and register for the 21st EAPR Triennial Conference that will this year be held in Warsaw, Poland (6th—10th July). Deadline for submission is 15th March.
The Newsletter contains information about the EAPR’s support offered to students who wish to attend the Conference in July. EAPR will financially support 10 PhD students to attend. The support will not exceed 800 EUR and will reimburse registration fee, and travel and accommodation costs.
The Newsletter contains noteworthy reports from all EAPR Section Meetings that took place in 2019. A brief summary of the 2020 EAPR Council Meeting is also given.
It further includes an update on the journal Potato Research. Members are encouraged to continue to submit articles to Potato Research, and those with an interest in becoming an editor are welcome to contact the Chief editor Paul Struik at [email protected]
EAPR is still seeking new Councillors and nominations for the 2026 Triennial Conference – more details in the Newsletter.
