AVR’s extensive range of planting machines has something in store for everyone, the company says in it’s April Newsletter, distributed to recipients in Europe and countries around the world. The Ceres 200 M is the smallest member of the Ceres family, the 200 H being the high-tech version. The Ceres 440 replaces the former Ceres 400. The Ceres 450 is AVR’s four-row trailed potato planter.
Ceres 200 M
The Ceres 200 M is the smallest member of the Ceres family.

- As the name suggests, the Ceres 200 M is a mechanically driven (‘M’) two-row (‘200’) mounted planting machine.
- The planting system is based on the same principle as used in the Ceres line, but in this machine it has been reduced to its simplest form.
- Available options are lighting, two types of fixed bunkers (600 kg and 1,300 kg), electrical agitators in the cup belt, a ridging hood and a fertilizer unit.

Ceres 200 H
The Ceres 200 H is the high-tech version of the Ceres 200 M.

- As the name suggests, the Ceres 200 H is a hydraulically (‘H’) driven two-row (‘200’) mounted planting machine.
- Comes with a comprehensive technology package and a larger bunker.
- This machine is designed for planting in preconstructed beds, i.e. mainly for situations where the soil is ‘destoned’.
- Equipped with nearly all features its larger siblings have to offer. If you are restricted to two-row planting after destoning, all functionalities of the four-row machines can be reduced to a two-row width.
