Branston launches recruitment drive, to create 45 new jobs in Lincolnshire

UK-wide potato supplier Branston is set to create 45 new jobs at its prepared foods factory near Lincoln after completing a £6m extension to the facility.

As The Business Desk reports, the company has launched a recruitment drive to find new production operatives, quality controllers, technical administrators and forklift drivers after experiencing an increase in demand for its products.

Branston is already the nation’s largest spud supplier, employing around 800 people across its four UK factories and handling 350,000 tonnes of potatoes each year.

Tom Wykes, managing director at Branston Prepared, said: “The food production industry is an important contributor to the UK’s business success, which we are proud to be a part of. We hope to find a number of new recruits to join us as we continue to invest in new technology and expanding our product range.”
