The organisers of Europatat Congress 2023 – the Polish Potato Federation and Europatat – are excited to announce that Grzegorz Łapanowski, food expert, culinary journalist and creative chef, will give a keynote speech on 6 June during the public session of Europatat’s annual event in Gdansk (Poland).
The renowned Top Chef jury Grzegorz Łapanowski will give an energising and inspiring keynote speech on how to connect with European consumers and how to turn the image of a traditional product towards a modern and attractive one.
Grzegorz Łapanowski is more than a food expert, culinary journalist and creative chef; he is also a food activist and founder of School on the fork foundation, a NGO for healthy food promotion in schools and kinder gardens. Furthermore, he is the founder of Old Friends kimchi brand – one of the first companies on the Polish market that produce craft quality kimchi.
The first-time ever Polish edition of the Europatat Congress will take place on 5 and 6 June at the Radisson Hotel & Suites in the beautiful city of Gdansk. The public conference, which will be held on 6 June and moderated by Łukasz Grass, former radio and television journalist, will also include a panel discussion with the topic “The Changing Geopolitical Landscape and the Future for Potato Trade”.
Distinguished speakers will be Antonina Skliarenko, President of the Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine, Geoffroy d’Evry, President of NEPG (North European Potatoes Growers) and UNPT (Union Nationale des Producteurs de Pommes de Terre), Jörg Renatus, Managing Director of Europlant International, and Jarosław Wańkowicz, Supply Chain Director at Farm Frites Poland SA.
