In a transformative move, HyFun Foods, leading potato processor in India, has elevated the livelihoods of over 4,000 farmers in Gujarat by introducing contract farming, as Rafat Quadri reports in a news story published by Bilkul Online.
Once struggling with low potato prices, these farmers now witness significant profits, with some earning upwards of Rs 50,000. Established in 2015, HyFun Foods revolutionized the frozen food sector with its Seed-to-Shelf model, ensuring top-quality potato products through comprehensive integration, setting unparalleled standards in quality and innovation.
Embracing technology, HyFun Foods is soon introducing ‘Farmoji‘, a revolutionary farming App. Bridging the gap between farmers and agribusiness, the application propels agriculture into the digital age, fostering transparency and efficiency.
HyFun Foods set the Independence Day mood by organising a 5-day program themed “Yeh Jo Desh Hai Mera“, which was held in Himmatnagar and Palanpur. The key invitees were farmers of North Gujarat associated with HyFun vide contract farming and the program “Kisan Vikas Sammelan” was organized to recognize their contribution in Nation Building.
With a global presence in 40 countries, HyFun Foods continues its mission of farmer empowerment and quality assurance.
