Standen Engineering has announced the launch of a new version of its popular POWAVATOR model, the POWAVATOR HS400 rotary tiller, set to be available in 2024.
This innovative model offers two bed straddle and triple bed options, catering to growers’ specific needs and soil types. The HS400 has undergone three seasons of field testing, resulting in significant improvements. These include redesigned narrower side drives for minimal soil disturbance and easier maintenance, a deeper hull design for reduced tine wear and fuel consumption, a new main gearbox design rated for 400hp and above, and a faster rotor speed for a finer finish and quicker forward speed.
The model also features 10 or 12mm ‘L’ or speed blades, optional wider point for different body types, and is available with Shearbolt or Auto-Reset legs. Additionally, the HS400 can be combined with the Standen BX Bedformer series for enhanced bed forming capabilities.
Standen Engineering is offering on-farm demonstrations of the new HS400 models, inviting interested parties to contact them for arrangements.
