McDonald’s tests garlic fries, can’t keep up with demand

This is a win for McDonald’s, and possibly one of the chain’s most successful tests yet.
The fast food giant is having a difficult time keeping up with demand as orders of its “Gilroy Garlic Fries” fly of shelves in Northern California, according to Time. McDonald’s is testing the fries at four locations in the San Francisco Bay area, but will be out of the specialty fries – made from locally-sourced garlic — for the next few days. “In less than two weeks, our small, four-restaurant test of Gilroy Garlic Fries has been a huge success, and we are now experiencing a temporary shortage of supplies,” the company said in a statement.
