US Foods introduces clean label chips

Starting this fall, US Foods, one of the leading foodservice distributors in the America, will launch a new line of clean label products, targeting restaurateurs and out-of-home operators. Among them, the company includes three processed potato specialties, under the Chef’s Line and Monarch brands. Made without artificial ingredients, flavors, colors or preservatives, Chef’s Line Natural Chips are minimally processed, frozen and promote the natural trend, which a growing number of operators include, in order to upgrade their market positioning. Similarly, Chef’s Line Natural Fries are made using a special processing technique which provides better heat retention and an innovative texture, for these frozen skin-on French fries.
