Media mogul and former daytime talk show star Oprah Winfrey gave a small Detroit potato chip company a huge marketing boost leading up to this holiday season. Winfrey listed Detroit Friends Potato Chips among more than 100 products she vouches for on her annual “Oprah’s Favorite Things” list, a popular guide for holiday shoppers.
