Northern Ireland: Potato processing business owner fined for food offences

editorial imageThe owner of a processing business, which supplies peeled potatoes and chips to catering premises throughout Northern Ireland, has pleaded guilty to six food safety offences, at Coleraine Magistrates Court. Raymond Todd, who owns Glenview Foods, Moyarget Road, Ballycastle, was fined £3000 for five offences with a conditional discharge imposed for a sixth offence requiring continued compliance with food safety law for a period of two years to avoid a further fine.
