Spanish potato chips a sellout in Australia

Galician exporters in Spain closed 2018 with record figures, mainly due to the boost of the automotive industry. However, with the start of the New Year, another product, namely Galician potatoes, could also contribute their bit to a statistic that indicates the health of the region’s economy, but this time in snack form.

Bonilla a la Vista, one of the most popular brands of potato chips in Galicia, has announced through its blog that they have recently made the first shipment of tins of potato chips to Australia, and that they sold out in just three weeks. The second order is already underway, report the company’s managers.

The Bonilla a la Vista potato chips have ended up in Australia thanks to the initiative of an import company specializing in Spanish products, which decided to expand its product range with these chips.
