Spudnik to continue manufacturing during COVID-19 outbreak

This past Friday, Idaho-based Spudnik Equipment released a statement in which is said that all its locations will remain open and available to growers, despite the Stay at Home order issued last week in Idaho and other closures prompted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Ag and food workers defined as “critical” in this guidance include “Employees engaged in the manufacture and maintenance of equipment and other infrastructure necessary to agricultural production and distribution.”

Spudnik further states that its parts and service departments will remain open, and that the company will continually disinfect and monitor the conditions within facilities.

Spudnik says “We look forward to continuing to do our part to support the growers throughout North America. Agriculture and logistics industries are the heart of what we do and we are grateful for all you do to continue to meet the world food supply.”

The full statement can be found on the Spudnik website here
