Lamb Weston-RDO Frozen employee tested positive for COVID-19

The Lamb Weston-RDO Frozen plant in Park Rapids had an employee test positive for COVID-19 last week. According to Shelby Stoolman, a communications and external relations officer with Lamb Weston, a team member from the Park Rapids facility notified the company of a positive COVID-19 test on Tuesday, June 2. Robin D. Fish reports for the Park Rapids Enterprise.

“We confirmed with the individual that they had received the appropriate medical attention, and they are on quarantine,” said Stoolman.

“We notified our staff of the situation, and took a brief pause in our operations to deep clean affected areas of our facility. We’ve resumed operations and continue our extensive safety protocols including health screening upon entry to our facility, required mask use while onsite, and social distancing.”

Stoolman added, “This is the first positive case confirmed at our facility. We feel confident that our safety protocols are working to protect our team members and will continue our efforts to create a safe work environment.”
