HZPC Americas Corp. (HZPC) and partners are embarking on a new phase of supporting the North American potato industry with the creation of a Seed Dealer Network.
A Strategic Shift in North America
HZPC has made a strategic decision to implement a targeted, value-chain-driven strategy in the North American markets of the USA and Canada. To accomplish this, HZPC has established a Dealer Network, partnering with three participating Dealers who have a long history of successful collaboration with HZPC.
Key Dealer Partnerships
The three initial Dealers include:
- Ebe Farms in Ferndale, Washington, USA
- Kroeker Farms in Winkler, MB, Canada
- Edmonton Potato Growers in Edmonton, AB, Canada
These Dealers will continue to support commercial users of HZPC genetics and regional multipliers of HZPC varieties, ensuring all stakeholders have access to a clean, stable seed supply.
Transition to a Licensing Approach
This strategic shift enables HZPC to transition away from a direct seed sales model toward a complete variety licensing approach. By doing so, HZPC aims to collaborate with innovative partners throughout the value chain, delivering knowledge and support for HZPC varieties both in the field and in the market.
Simplifying Processes for Growers and Marketers
Growers of HZPC varieties and marketers will now have the ability to work directly with customers they have been shipping to for years, avoiding the added complexity or cost associated with the previous sales model.
Continuing Support and Market Leadership
HZPC remains committed to working closely with its seed growers across North America, providing technical support and market insights that have solidified its position as a market leader in potato genetics.
