Canada: The Little Potato Co. introduces Chilean Splash creamer variety

The Little Potato Co., plans to introduce its newest proprietary creamer potato at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit in Atlanta. The grower-shipper plans to roll out the Chilean Splash variety as a limited release specialty item late this year in the U.S. and Canada. The variety is to be packed in new 1.5-pound gusset bags. It follows five years of scaled planting, harvesting and tasting and the company says the variety has unique and bold attributes, according to a news release.
