Canada: PepsiCo launching Swiss Chalet chips at retail after sell-out foodservice debut

Retail version will be sold across Canada in 255g, 66g and 40g bags from November 1Swiss Chalet sauce-flavored Lays potato chips – rolled out earlier this month in restaurants – are now getting a retail launch. The PepsiCo  brand recently partnered with Cara Operations, owner of the Swiss Chalet chain of dining-in and take-away restaurants, to develop limited-edition potato chips featuring the restaurant’s Signature Chalet Dipping Sauce. Lays said it is also increasing production of the chips to be sold in restaurants after selling out at many venues.
