Luxury potato chips costing $74 for pack of 5 chips sells out

A Swedish brewery created some of the most expensive potato chips in the world as part of a promotional stunt for its beer – and people have literally gobbled it up! The pack of five chips was being sold for a whopping $74 – that’s $14.80 for a single chip, with proceeds going to charity – and they sold out in less than a few days. St.Erik’s Brewery created the snack, saying they wanted something that rivaled its high-class beer, so they enlisted a top chef to design a potato chip that features rare Nordic ingredients such as matsutake, one of the world’s most sought-after species of mushrooms, and a special truffle seaweed from the Faroe Islands that can be found only in cold tidal waters, according to the site where it’s being sold.
