AHDB-hosted webinars on post-CIPC potato sprout control coming up soon

The 2020 storage season is the 1st where store managers in Europe cannot apply Chlorpropham (CIPC) in store.

AHDB Potatoes in the UK initiated two webinars where growers and store managers will be informed on the latest developments in this regard by experts from Sutton Bridge CSR, Adrian Cunnington and Adrian Briddon.

The first of the webinars will be presented tomorrow, Tuesday 23 June, and will focus specifically on storing for the processing market. The second will happen next Tuesday, 30 June, and will focus on storing for the processing sector.

Both webinars webinar will cover:

  • The key findings from current and previous research on the alternatives to CIPC
  • The latest political update
  • A review of the importance of MH
  • Storage best practice advice for the post CIPC era

Those interested are encouraged to book as soon as possible. For further information and booking details for tomorrow’s webinar, go here. Details for the webinar on 30 June can be found here.
