Powdery scab and PMTV: Video and handout for virtual seminar now available online

Miller Research in Idaho hosted a virtual seminar February 18 on the management of powdery scab in potato production, including the value of soil testing, selecting resistant varieties, and the use of fungicides for control.

Dr Jeff Miller and colleagues at the University of Idaho, Drs. James Woodall and Nora Olsen discussed the relationship between powdery scab and potato mop-top virus (PMTV), as well as the latest information in pathogen detection technology and the development of PMTV symptoms in storage.

The presentation is now available online here. Please enter the passcode pW2!j2Bw when you access the page.

The handout for the presentation can be found as a pdf file here.

Other handouts and video recordings of the 2021 Miller Research Potato Pest Management Seminars can be found here.
