In an exciting development for the foodservice industry, Fresh Solutions Network (FSN) is set to showcase its superior “A Cut Above” potato line at the upcoming IFPA Foodservice Expo. The event, scheduled for July 28th, will take place in Monterey, California, where attendees can find FSN at booth #321.
A Cut Above is not just another potato line; it’s a premium-quality, three-tier program designed to enhance kitchen operations and boost profitability for foodservice customers.
The first tier includes fresh whole white and russet potatoes, packed in 50-pound bags and cartons.
The second tier features whole-peeled potatoes, conveniently available in 30-pound bags.
The third and final tier consists of fresh-cut potato varieties, including wedges, steak fries, sliced, and diced potatoes, packed in 30-pound cartons. These are particularly suited to the burgeoning breakfast trade. All whole and fresh-cut potatoes also come with a Kosher option.
The A Cut Above line is perfectly positioned to cater to consumer preferences. According to a 2022 Consumer Attitude & Usage Study by Potatoes USA, “any potato option” and “Fries” are the top two favorite side dishes and takeout options in America. The study also reaffirmed that potatoes have been America’s favorite vegetable for seven consecutive years.
