‘PotatoNext’: Uniting Agrico, Nedato, and Leo de Kock for sustainable potato production

Agrico, Nedato and Leo de Kock are pleased to announce the name of the new independent cooperative for conventional consumption potatoes: ‘PotatoNext‘.

This joint cooperative marks an important milestone in the potato industry and will be the result of close collaboration between the three reputable companies, Leo de Kock, an Agrico company, says in a press release.

With the new name, a new logo and a new corporate identity are also introduced. The wordmark and tagline complement the logo and contribute to the identity of the new joint brand.

The new logo symbolizes the entire process of the potato, from planting in the ground to being served on the consumer’s plate. Each stage of this process has contributed to the choice of specific colors that represent this brand. The color palette reflects the versatility and natural origin of the potatoes.

The logo depicts an infinity sign, which symbolizes cooperation and interconnectedness among other things. The fresh look reflects the modern approach and dedication to quality.

The management team of PotatoNext has been appointed and will be led by Jan Bijleveld and Mariska Werring. Both are currently serving as directors at Leo de Kock and will lead the management of PotatoNext. With their extensive experience, they are determined to lead the cooperative to a successful future.

In addition, the Management Team (MT) of PotatoNext has also been assembled. This team will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making within the cooperative. The MT consists of the following members:

Daniel Hans – from Leo de Kock
Koen van Hartevelt – from Nedato
Jan den Boer – from Nedato
Francis Moerdijk – from Nedato

These professionals have rich experience and are ready to utilize their expertise for the further development and growth of PotatoNext.

Growers, customers, and suppliers will be further informed about the transition of conventional consumption growers to PotatoNext and the benefits that this collaboration brings.
