World Potato Congress Inc.’s next Webinar will take place on November 14, 2019 at 09:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time with Kris Michiels, presenting on regional potato promotion in Flanders (Belgium).
This is a reminder to register for the World Potato Congress (WPC) offering of its sixth webinar via Zoom in its 2019 series with Mr. Kris Michiels.
Mr. Michiels is a Marketing Adviser at VLAM (Flanders’ Agricultural Marketing Board) Mr. Michiels graduated in 1997 as a Commercial Engineer at the Catholic University of Leuven. He has worked at VLAM since 1998 and specializes in consumer insights and marketing strategy.
Mr. Michiels will explain why generic promotion for potatoes is useful and how it is organized in Flanders (region in Belgium). Following a description of the structure and the way of financing of VLAM, Kris will demonstrate how they work on a strategic way and to which kind of potato promotion campaigns this leads to. Kris will also share experiences and lessons learned about the potato promotion.
